I-Cell (Innovation Cell) Developing and Testing the potential of young generation as well as Preparing them to create their future are the purpose of the ATMI- II Cell  Innovation.

“Despite the global economic crisis, ATMI launched the I-Cell Program, a program which has purpose to generate the new possible business potential answering the challenge of global industrial innovation”, said a source of  Harian Kedaulatan Rakyat.” Meanwhile, Romo Triatmoko SJ in the launching of  I-Cell Expo, in  Hotel Lor Inn, Friday, 20 February 2009. also expressed that suppose, we were in hard flowing wave, we needed power so full that the young generation prepared in the I-Cell Program  to create the future were truly ready.

This program has successfully resulted 15 talented young generations from various field of studies.  And during this program, they were requested to work together and plan their business plan under the guidance of experts, teachers, lecturers, from various studies and universities.

And these are the projects of these 15 young generation in which they worked, they were grouped into three groups, The first project is  : The Bio-fuel, it is to develop the alternative  energy for the minimum supply and sources of fossil fuel. The second project is the Seaweed project having purpose to develop the seaweed processing industry of which raw material is very abundant in Indonesia. The last project is the Waste-Treatment project aims to process the waste in order to have the business value.

Many people from varied backgrounds attended this I-Cell EXPO.  They were not only from the government, investors, industrialist, but also from academician.  They also attended the program which has results to be the incubators of the growing young entrepreneurs and also business potentials to meet the challenge of the industrial innovation and the growing society needs. Besides presenting the work of the projects, ATMI also made a working partnership agreement with BDEC-ATMI Surakarta and handed certificates to young talented generation, the mentors, and the trainers of this first  I-CELL  program.

We hope that from this program shall give much more contribution to the society and to the enhancement of Indonesia.
