Tridharma Higher Education consisting of three dharmas namely Education, Research and Community Service
is an obligation that must be carried out by Higher Education in Indonesia. Each academic community
(Lecturers, Instructors, Students) also has the task to run the Tridharma to improve the performance of
higher education. Dharma education in general has been carried out by the academic community through the
process of learning theory and practice, but not all academic community can run the Research and
Community Service dharma routinely and seriously. There are many things that cause it, such as awareness
factors, funds, facilities and so on.
Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) ATMI Polytechnic Surakarta has the task to
facilitate, stimulate and assist all academics within the ATMI Surakarta Polytechnic to carry out
routine and serious tasks in Research and Community Service dharma with the aim of coordinating and
synergizing all sources the power available and encouraging research and service to take place well,
evenly and continuously in the development of science and technology.
To become a superior research and community service institution that has a positive impact in advancing people's lives, especially in the industrial and vocational world through the application of science and technology
